We are planning two breedings this summer…

If all goes according to plan, we will breed Willow in June, due date will be end of August, puppies to their families mid-November. Sire will be Sterling.

Sandia’s Wind In The Willows, AKA, Willow.

The second planned breeding this summer (2024) will be Juneau. The breeding should take place in early to mid-August, due date mid to end of October, puppies to families end of December, early January. Sire TBD.

Frida Is Available!

At this time we have one little girl available. She had a wonderful family who decided to wait on getting a puppy due to unexpected circumstances.
Frida was born on September 19, 2023. She is a black and white, expected to be 12 pounds. Frida sleeps through the night in her crate and uses a litter box inside to potty AND potties outside when she goes for a little play with her dog family. She tries to catch snow flakes and raindrops when she’s running with her little pack and really enjoys shredding leaves! We will continue basic training and will continue to love on her and snuggle her lil butt until we match her again (she’s a hugger 🤗).

FUTURE BREEDINGS

We are starting to think about whether to breed in the next year or not.
With respect to genetic diversity, we are considering a maiden bitch with a proven sire but will only breed after we have at least six families approved.
The order of placement will be based on order of approval.
All recommended AKC Havanese health tests will be completed and passed and the sire and dam will be matched to one of my available sires through a genetic database.
The breeding will either be in May, for an early August “go home” time, or end of November breeding for a mid-February “go home” time.
